We are seeking a Senior Engineer with 6-12 years of structural engineering experience related to Buildings. The incumbent Candidate will have the opportunity to work with a highly collaborative and creative team on a diverse portfolio of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Structural design and analysis for steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems
- Assisting in preparing drawings and specifications
- Conducting site investigations to document existing conditions
- Project Management of staff and clients
- Providing mentoring and guidance to junior staff
- Site supervision for Emergency work with NYC DOB Forensic Unit and Construction Safety Engineering Unit
- Maintaining involvement in professional organizations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering
- Master's Degree considered an asset
- P.E. or S.E. license considered an asset
- 6-12 years of experience in residential, commercial, or institutional buildings projects
- Experience in historic buildings preservation considered an asset
- Proficiency with computer analysis software (RISA, SAP, RAM)
- Working knowledge of REVIT
